Soldier Story

Helena Masopustová was a young woman from Prague, Czech Republic. She was very committed and determined to do something with her life, so she decided to join the army. She passed rigorous physical tests and passed the military exams necessary for admission to the military academy.


During her training, Helena distinguished herself among her comrades thanks to her courage and unwavering will. Her training completed, she was assigned to a battalion responsible for monitoring the border between the Czech Republic and Germany. There, she displayed great bravery and quickly became a role model for her fellow soldiers.


When she arrived in the field, Helena was surprised by the danger that reigned there but did not show the slightest sign of fear or concern at the risks she was exposed to on a daily basis. Despite the dangers she faced every day on the border, Helena continued to serve bravely until her unit was honored for providing effective protection against German forces attempting to cross the border illegally. After this remarkable feat, Helena received a promotion and was made captain of the battalion she had taken command of earlier that year.


Since then, Helena has been recognized as a national hero in the Czech Republic for having shown extraordinary courage during her military service and for ensuring the protection of Czech citizens against hostile foreign forces.
