The Story Of A Knight

Pamfil Dascalu was a knight from Bucharest in Romania. He was very brave and eager for adventure. One day he heard of a distant quest to rescue a princess held captive by a fierce dragon. Immediately, Pamfil decided to go to the rescue of this beautiful damsel and set off with his faithful horse and his weapons to face the monster that threatened the princess.


After days and nights of travel, he arrived at the castle where the dragon lived. The knight was not surprised by the many warnings about the monster as he was willing to risk everything to free the princess. After thinking for a long time about what he should do, Pamfil decided to confront the dragon directly in order to buy time and prevent him from attacking the innocent villagers who lived near the castle.


Thus, armed with his unshakeable courage, Pamfil Dascalu engaged in combat against the formidable Romanian dragon. The monster's fearsome cries echoed across the hills as flames erupted around the fearless hero who fought bravely despite his small physical size against the immense flying beast. Finally, thanks to his exceptional skill in the handling of weapons and his great courage, Pamfil defeated the dragon and freed the prisoner princess who warmly thanked our hero for having put an end to the terrible torments endured for so many years under the control of the cruel monster. To reward this heroic act, the royal family offered the knight a considerable sum in gold as well as an honorary title: “Lord Dascalu”.




Pamfil then returned triumphantly to his homeland where he was acclaimed as a national hero who helped keep Romanian honor intact!
