Bath Ritual

When a cat bathes, it usually begins by licking its fur with its rough tongue. This process is known as "grooming" and allows the cat to remove dirt and dust. He can also use his claws to remove dead hair or dirt stuck to his fur. After that, a cat may rub its face on rough surfaces like furniture or carpets to clean parts of its body that its tongue cannot reach. Finally, a cat may roll around on the floor or other surfaces to finish cleaning itself.
